I’m Kelly Dickerson, and you could say writing is in my genes. In the 1950s, my grandmother worked for an advertising agency and wrote the first television variety program that aired in the Southwest.
Fast forward to 1995, when I began my writing career. I worked for trade publications in Washington, DC, and became a member of the National Press Club. From there, I moved to London, where I worked in PR.
I moved back to the States and earned a Master’s degree in journalism with a focus in advertising. I then worked my way up to a senior-level copywriter within agencies and corporations and on my own as a freelancer.
Outside of work, I'm aspiring novelist and mom to a smart, kind, talented, funny and beautiful girl. I also volunteer my writing skills for the Children’s Craniofacial Association.
